Hotspot mode

Local‑only: phones keep their internet; open mixpre.local yourself. Pop‑up page: the page opens by itself when you join, but no internet while joined.

MixPre model

Sets how many channels are shown (3 II: 5 · 6 II: 6 · 10 II: 10).

USB mode

What the Pi pretends to be. Both = controller + keyboard: stays a nanoKONTROL2, briefly switches to keyboard to send keys. MIDI = controller only; Keyboard = keys only, no faders or feedback.

Name U1–U5 to match what you assigned on the MixPre.

Shows what the MixPre sends back (LED feedback, SysEx handshake). Copy this if something doesn't work.

Recording timer

Pre-roll (0–10 s): if the MixPre records a pre-roll buffer, the timer starts at this value when you press Record.

Send raw MIDI (hex), e.g. B0 2D 7F

CC finder: pick a CC number, press Low / High (moves faders, knobs) or Tap (buttons), and watch what the MixPre does.
